Web Link The Cotswolds with a coach and tour guide
We were blessed with beautiful sunshine all day. There was a large group of us and together with a tour guide we took a huge amount of photographs and learnt some incredible facts and history along the way. We had a coach booked as well which took us between some of the various towns on offer. Web Link Photomonth Photofair- Spitalfields Market
Photography Meetups participated in the Photomonth Photofair 2011 at Spitalfields Market. The fair had over 100 stalls and stands with photographers selling prints, galleries representing photographers, books, magazines, products, services, talks and walks. It was ideal opportunity to see new work, buy prints, commission photographers and select images for exhibition.

Web Link Rooftop Model Shoot
The idea was that we created several studio lighting set-ups on top of a fabulous rooftop. Each set-up was allocated per model, and the models and photographers rotated between the set-ups. Each model had their make-up and fashion styling done by industry professionals prior to the event.

Web Link Photography Meetup with a tour guide- palace sights
We started by meeting at 2:00pm outside the St. James Park Underground tube station and then for approximately 2 hours we were in the capable hands of our guide who put stories and memories behind our photos and took us along some of the hidden/less known spots in London. This route was carefully selected for its beauty from a photographer's point of view and with a twist.

Our Photography Meetup weekend in Poland was just simply unreal. We were blessed with the most beautiful weather and fantastic photographic opportunities including a derelict brewery shoot with models, sightseeing and photography competition as well as a model shoot in a Japanese Garden over 3 days.

Web Link Epping Forest Meetup
We started by meeting outside the Epping Underground tube station. From there we took a short walk to the start of Epping Forest. We continued the journey through this stunning forest throughout the day until we reached Loughton. Along the way we passed through Epping Thicks... Jack's hill... Wake Valley Pond and Staples Hill.

We rented out the whole conservatory/bar area in a lovely bar in Kensington called ArchAngel for everyone. This was one great party! This was the first chance for everyone to come along without their cameras and have a drink with the team and meet other industry photographers.

Web Link Graffiti Waterloo Tunnel & Model Off Camera Flash session
We started by meeting Outside All Bar One at 11am which was a 2 minute walk from Waterloo station. From there we took a short walk to Leake Street where the infamous Banksy/Graffiti Tunnel was located. The idea was that we all took-over the tunnel and created off camera flash studio lighting setups throughout and there were several models for the subjects. Each model had make-up artists working on them prior to the event. To finish off we ended in a great bar for a drink to discuss/summarise the day!

We started by meeting Outside the Shoreditch High Street overground station. From there we continued the route past through Spitalfields... Petticoat Lane... The Treasury... The Gherkin Building... London & Tower Bridge and South Bank. This route was carefully selected for its beauty at night from a photographer's point of view. We all ended this great night in a bar for a few drinks!

Web Link Nice, France Meetup
We headed to France this time for a special phototour of Cote d Azur (Nice, Antibes etc..) on the 14th/15th May. Accompanying us was an english speaking local who toured us around the special hidden gems and provided us with plenty of photographic opportunities. There was also local photography enthusiasts who are part of the global Photography Meetups social network! It was a great chance to make some friends across the channel.

We started by meeting outside Temple Underground station. From there we took a short walk to Somerset House venue where the festival was held. Once inside we spent the day in what was hosting London's largest week photography festival called World Photography Festival.

Web Link Abandoned/Derelict Building Studio Lighting & Model Meetup
This was a very special meetup and it almost certainly was the most in demand event as we had access to a HUGE stunning abandoned/derelict builiding full of character. We were able to secure a fantastic derelict/abandoned building location in Holborn, London. We were granted access to this for the day. The awesome thing about this was that they are demolishing this location a week after we will were inside. The idea is that we had 4 models to come down who had their make-up done by professional make-up artists and we created studio lighting setups in various rooms and had someone on hand showing how to use the lighting effectively. Everyone also was more than welcome to roam around the building as they please to take location/interior shots of the building.

Web Link Railway arch studio meetup
This was a very special meetup as we had access to an awesome studio which was set within a location that screams character, the photographic studio boasted the high ceilings, exposed brickwork and spacious shooting dimensions of a converted railway arch. We also had professional models, make up artists, stylist, and all the necessary studio lighting.

Web Link Focus On Imaging
We started by meeting outside Costa Coffee which was located inside London Euston train station. From there we caught a train to Birmingham International which was roughly two hours journey. Once we arrived we took the short walk to the NEC exhibition centre where we spent the day in what was hosting Europe's largest photography festival called Focus On Imaging which attracted 37,352 people last year. Once inside we had the opportunity to take photos as well as just take it all in. We stopped off for lunch at some point too. To finish off some of us ended in a bar for a drink to discuss/summarise the day!

We started by meeting outside South Kensington underground station. From there we took a short walk to the Natural History Museum for the Wildlife photographer of the year exhibition. From there we walked to the Victoria & Albert Museum for the Camera Less exhibition. After these we stopped off for some well deserved lunch and beverages. From there we took the tube 4 stops to Leicester Square where we will go to the National Portrait gallery for the Taylor Wessing portrait prize Exhibition. Lastly we got on the tube 3 stops to Waterloo and finish off in The National Theatre for the landscape Photographer of The Year Exhibition. Along the way we took photos and discussed the varying types of photographic exhibitions we had visted. To finish off we ended in a bar for a drink to discuss/summarise the day! -> 66 members confirmed

Web Link Studio Lighting and Model Workshop/Course
This was a very special meetup as we had access to an awesome studio complete with models, make up artists, stylist, and all the necessary studio lighting. We held a studio lighting day workshop and course for various photographers. This workshop was guided by reknown professional photographer Paul Szewczyk who has been in the industry for several years and has conducted hundreds of various studio lighting workshops and courses.

Web Link East London urban adventure!
We started by meeting at the Mile End tube station. From there we continued the route past the lovely Mile End park via the Mile End stadium and then onto Brickfield gardens. In this one small area there was revolution go-karting, Mile end skatepark and a cool railway arch full of colourful graffiti where we got some great shots. Afterwards we ventured to the Limehouse basin passing through a canal and experienced some real urban east london architecture. Along the way we took photos of the various parks, skateboarders, urban architecture, and graffiti as well as the limehouse basin and canals. To finish off we ended in a pub for some food & drink to discuss/summarise the day!
